DJ Obi Wants To Break Guinness World Record


DJ Obi, a renowned Nigerian DJ recently announced he is going to attempt to break Guinness World Record for Longest DJ Set. The ten-day set will begin from 10 p.m. today, June 22nd through 10 p.m. on July 1st, 2016.

The current Guinness world record for Longest DJ Set is 200 hours and was set by Norbert Selmaj aka Norberto Loco in The Underground temple bar in Dublin, Ireland from 19 to 27 November 2014.

Speaking on his record-breaking attempt DJ Obi says,

“This is a dream that we’ve been working on for over eight months. It means a lot to me and there’s no better way to show the world that Nigerian DJs are a force. I’m excited the day to finally get started is here. Lagos, I need your love and support so please come through to Sao Café. And all my Nigerian’s please hit me up on social media. Let’s go!”
