Lagos to begin household survey next week

A five-week household survey for the sustenance of economic development in Lagos State will kick off next week, Monday, the Commissioner for Economic Planning & Budget, Mr. Akinyemi Ashade, said yesterday.

According to The Nation, He explained that the yearly survey has been designed to gather information on the basic nature of economic activities, impact of government policies and programmes as well as the various projects on communities in the Centre of Excellence.

Besides, the commissioner said that the survey will assist the government in getting feedback on the constraints and hindrances to growth and productivity in the state.

According to Ashade, the survey will be carried out in selected households within the old 20 local government areas and the 37 local council development authorities (LCDAs).
