According to him, “Today, we have repositioned the Lagos State printing corporation with the goal of joining the league of well-respected national and global players in the printing industry.”
The Governor, represented at the event by the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr. Steve Ayorinde, said that he has strengthened the capacity of the corporation with the latest Hi-Tech tools and charged the staff of the corporation to justify the huge investment in the new machines by carving out a niche for the printing press through innovation and dynamic performance.
“You have at your disposal, a facility that will guarantee top quality output, you are to deploy the appropriate human capital in terms of skills, attitude and professionalism”, he added.
Earlier, the General Manager of the Corporation, Mr. Sakiru Odusanya described the new machines as the latest in the industry and best in the country, assuring that there is no aspect of printing that the corporation cannot handle now with the new acquisition.
Odusanya, therefore, urged all Ministries, Agencies, Departments and Corporate organisations to make the outfit their first choice for all printing requirements, stressing that the era when the corporation could only handle selected printing works was over.
He thanked the Governor for the major transformation and modernization of the outfit promising that the machines would be put to good use and regularly maintained accordingly.
