CHELSEA APPOINTS FRANK LAMPARD AS HEAD COACH


Chelsea football club has announced the appointment of club legend Frank Lampard has their new head coach for the next three seasons. The former Derby FC coach was announced this morning replacing Maurizio Sarri who is now the coach of Juventus.

Chelsea had issued a statement this morning “One of the greatest players in our history during his long and illustrious career, Lampard returns to Stamford Bridge having signed a three-year contract.”

As a Chelsea player, Frank Lampard made 648  appearances – 4th most in club’s history, scored 211 goals – the club’s all-time top scorer and had 11 major honors to his name in 13 years, he was the stand-in captain for Chelsea in their 2012 Champions League triumph over Bayern Munich.
