TRICYCLE MEMBERS REJOICE AS STATE CHAIRMAN DISTRIBUTES FREE KEKE-NAPEP TO BENEFICIARIES

ENCOURAGES MEMBERS TO CONSIDER THE JOB AS A HONEST MEANS OF LIVELIHOOD

IMPLORE THEM TO SHUN ANY FORM OF TEMPTATION TO INDULGE IN ECONOMIC OR FINANCIAL CRIMES

The State Chairman of Tricycle Owners Drivers Association of Lagos ( RTEAN – TODAL) , Alhaji Comrade Abdulsalam Nurudeen, has distributed 100 tricycles ( Otherwise called Keke – Napep or Maruwa ) to members of the Association across various units under his administrative jurisdiction as he encouraged members to see the business as a honest means of livelihood.

He made this known at Km 12, Akesan Bus Stop, Lasu – Isheri Road where the distribution took place on Wednesday August 21st, 2019.

Speaking to reporters after the event, the Chairman expressed his commitment to poverty alleviation especially among members and also as a means to complementing government’s sincere efforts towards poverty alleviation.

The Chairman believed if people could involve in honest means of livelihood, corruption and other terrible vices the country is currently battling with would become a history.

He remarked : “I am pleased to announce the distribution of 100 tricycles to our members today. This shall cut across every unit under our administrative jurisdiction. It is an attempt to improve our members’ standards of living and also to complement government’s sincere efforts towards curtailing poverty.

“I encourage us all to shun any form of illegal activity that might put you in troubles. If we all can live within our income with all honesty, corruption would be a history in our country.”

One of the benefiaries, Mrs Ajayi Mariam from Badagry unit, was full of gratitude to the Chairman for the gift. According to her, such a gesture would go along way in lifting people out of poverty. “I am very grateful for this. May God bless my Chairman. Effort of this nature, I believe, will go a long way in lifting people out of poverty. ” Mrs Ajayi said.

You may recall that on Wednesday June 12, this year, the Chairman rewarded all the Excos across the State in recognition of their commitment towards the progress of the Association.
