Mauricio Pochettino has been handed a huge boost ahead of the North London derby against Arsenal as Dele Alli returned to training.
Toothless Spurs were stunned by Newcastle United last weekend as they prepare to face their bitter rivals on Sunday.
And Alli’s return from injury will be a welcome sight for Pochettino, although he has vowed not to rush him back early.
Hamstring issues has kept the English Midfielder out for 25 games.
And his manager is keen to avoid causing further problems by throwing him back into the firing line.
Speaking about the injuries, Pochettino Said: “It’s the same area. Yes, of course, we are worried.
“He’s just 23, still young and he has had reoccurring hamstring problems in the last few years.”
Spurs have struggled to create chances, with Christian Eriksen benched for the Newcastle game.
The Dane is a target by Real Madrid and has admitted he wants a new challenge.
