IRU/VI Chair Grace COWLSO 3-day Workshop

The Executive Chairman IRU/VI LCDA, Hon. Princess Rasheedat Abiodun Adu graced the Committee of Wives of Lagos State Officials (COWLSO) 3-day Workshop on security and protocols yesterday.

Addressing the audience, the Governor of Lagos State, Gov. Babajide Olusola Sanwoolu appreciates the Firstlady for having strong zeal for COWLSO continuity with great effect. He however urge the wives to take the motherhood role up and painstakingly ensure cleanliness within their environment and Lagos state as a whole.

In addition, Mr Governor enlightened the audience on COVID’19, it’s precautions, symptoms and the use of medical tools; Sanitizer, nose mask for prevention. All measures are under control to avert COVID’19 – Gov. Babajide Sanwoolu.

In the same vein, the Deputy Governor, Dr. Kadiri Obafemi Hamzat, ” this is a programme of 20 years ago,i commend the effort of the past Firstladies and appreciate our amiable Firstlady, Dr. Ibijoke Sanwoolu for taking it up with great concern”. He added that, members of COWLSO should help to sensitise the public about the Themes agenda and the government policies. As you train the girl child, don’t forget the He child.

The Firstlady of Lagos State, Dr. Mrs Ibijoke Sanwoolu, the chief host of event appreciates everyone present, exhort the members to adequately make use of lessons learnt from the series of lectures. Her excellency outlined the need to be a good wife to their spouses.

Giving her goodwill message at the event, the Chairman IRU/VI said “Apparently the need to learn and relearn as a woman is very essential and of great value, hence I appreciate the Firstlady of Lagos State for her commitment and unrelentless effort towards achieving this. “

She urge everyone to be cautious and vigilant and make use of the quote learnt that “If you disclose your secret to the wind, don’t blame the wind for blowing it to the tress.
