The Nigeria Airforce, has made do with their promise by immortalizing late female helicopter combat pilot , Flying officer Tolulope Arotile by naming the newly renovated group (115 SOG) port Harcourt after her.
Late Arotile was killed by a vehicle driven by her secondary school mate on July 14 2020.
Arotile, before her death, was the first female helicopter fighter pilot.
