Nigerian-American recording artist, Jidenna has announced a homecoming tour across Africa. The Classic Man will tour the African continent for a series of exclusive performances, album release parties and the filming of a BBC documentary, which will chronicle his homecoming journey to Nigeria.
Jidenna, who is signed Wondaland Records/Epic Records will kickoff the tour in late August with a journey to Nigeria where he will hold an exclusive album launch event alongside a live performance at Hard Rock Café in Lagos after which he will head to his childhood home in Enugu, Nigeria.
He then departs for South Africa where he will also be having an exclusive album launch.
Jidenna was born to Tama Mobisson, an accountant, and Oliver Mobisson, a Nigerian Igbo academic. He grew up partially in Nigeria, where his father was a professor of Computer Science at Enugu State University. His name in the Igbo language means to “embrace the father.
