The Dance Movie Project finally hits the cinemas this Friday, 9th September, 2016.
If your ever imagined or wished for a Nigerian-Dance movie, then your wish just came through.
Producer Alexander “Lex” Ore, has done a great one this time by putting Nollywood in the International scene.
One beautiful take away from the movie is that, other than the dance stunts it also creates awareness about the danger of diabetes.
Synopsis: The Dance Movie Project (#TDMP) is inspired by real-life events. The plot follows a talented duo, Femi and Wale, two brothers who despite the disapproval of their single mother, continue to chase their passion for dance.
The production crew put out a crowdfunding (Indiegogo) account to help finance the #TDMP project.
The film held a world premiere on Saturday, July 23 at 5 p.m. EST at New York’s prestigious Helen Mills Theater, located at 137 West 27 Street, Chelsea.
The film features an international cast of actors, including the best and brightest media personalities and renowned dancers in Africa and the UK. Artists such as R&B Star Banky W, TV Personality Denrele Edun, Radio Personality Tolu Oniru (Toolz), Former Britain’s Got Talent stars Ezinne Asinugo and Soliat of CEO dancers, Celebrity Actress Liz Anjorin, Celebrity Choreographer Donflexx , Afropop Star Joelschild, among others.
