APATIRA ATTENDS SEMINAR ON CORPORATE GOVERNANCE


…Revenue Generation Management Is Key For Developmental Strides

The Executive Chairman of Itire-Ikate LCDA, Hon. (Dr.) Ahmed Olanrewaju Apatira attended a seminar on ‘Corporate Governance’ held at Bexleyheath Marriott Hotel, London, United Kingdom on Monday, 30th September, 2019.

The Training is themed “Revenue generation management/contemporary trends in corporate governance for local governments”.

The trainer, Mr Jeremy Francis took the participants on a course titled ‘Managing For Future Success’.

He emphasized that corporate governance has become a topic of increasing interest to policymaker, investors, government agencies and other stakeholders.

Furthermore, Francis opined that corporate governance allows organization to put their positive traits on display, with their intentions made visible to all.

He noted that organizations are more likely to be held accountable for their behaviour, actions and thus more willing to distance themselves from duplicity.

Other Executive Chairmen present are that of Lagos Island East LCDA, Hon Kamal Salau-Bashua, Apapa Iganmu LCDA, Hon. Mrs Funmilayo Muhammed, Egbe-Idimu LCDA, Hon Olowoopejo Kunle Sanyaolu, Isolo LCDA, Hon Shamsideen Abiodun Olaleye, Vice-Chairman of Itire-Ikate LCDA, Pastor Gbenga Oyebode amongst others.
