The bye-election going in Ekiti state have turned bloody following the death of a policewoman and two other persons by unknown going men suspected to be thugs who also vandalised several vehicles.
The by-election which is for the Ekiti East Constituency (I) seat in Ekiti house of assembly, became vacant following the death of Juwa Adegbuyi, former representative of the constituency.
Eye-Witness account also have it that Biodun Olujimi, senator representing Ekiti South, escaped by whiskers as the thugs went on a rampage in her polling units in Omuo Ekiti.
It is understood that the deceased policewoman is a nursing mother.
