National Art Theater Lagos Management team paid courtesy visit to Lagos Mainland LGA Boss

The management team of National Art Theater earlier today paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman of Lagos Mainland Local Government, Hon. Mrs Omolola Essien at the council secretariat.

The team led by it’s acting GM/CEO, Mr Sunday A. Baba, thanked the Council number one citizen for her dexterity, utmost passion for community development. He reiterated that her immense contributions towards the achievement of the Greater Lagos is genuine.

You’re an advocate of good infrastructure and environment and it will be a great pleasure if our plights is favorably considered at the end of our meeting. He continued.

The National Arts Theatre is the primary centre for the performing arts in Nigeria, established to home the Festival of arts and culture(FESTAC) in 1977. Recently the facilities has been facelifted to tastefully accommodate events, banquet hall for functions with first class facilities.

Our coming here today is to familiarize the institution with the Local Government, we need the Local Government to partner with us on various projects that will be of great benefit to both parties. Together we can achieve more.

The Council boss in her response, congratulated the management team, it’s the first time we’ll be having executives from the monument. We have to charge our teams up and be functional, so we can build synergy and help ourselves in area of employments, security, environment and co-existence.

The team were very elated and assured the Chairman that they will work harmoniously with her so as to keep making Lagos Mainland LGA proud among her contemporaries.

Council Manager, Mr Olusegun Ajagunna also emphasize on the need to work with the executives of the historic monument. Something incredible happens when teamwork happens the way it’s supposed to happen.

Mrs Nwogu, speaking on behalf of the executives said : Things change when everyone on the team is equally invested in the overall purpose and goal. We’re looking forward to working with the Lagos Mainland Local Government Authority.

Local Government’s vice chairman, Alhaji Jubril Emilagba, Council Treasurer, Mr M.K Rufai and P.A Admin, Mr Taofeek Logun were also in attendance.
