The Nigeria Labour Congress has suspended the strike action/ protest expected to commence on Monday 28th of September over the hike in fuel And electricity tariff. The suspension of the action comes at an ongoing marathon meeting which is not concluded. According to channelsTv, immediate agreement reached was that the federal government will revert to the old tariff on electricity but that of petrol will remain while a committee is set up headed by the minister for labour.
