FCMB Appoints Yemisi Edun As Acting Managing Director

First City Monument Bank Limited has appointed Mrs. Yemisi Edun as acting managing director of the bank after the Managing Director, Adam Nuru, decided to go on leave amid the extra marital affair scandal that has recently engulfed him.

FCMB issued a press release stating that Mrs. Yemisi Edun is acting as the Managing Director of the bank in the interim period while Mr. Adam Nuru is on leave.

The bank stated that this is in line with normal corporate practices.

The statement reads further that she has not been appointed as the substantive Managing Director.
