Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode says the continuous development of infrastructural projects in the State are part of the foundation laid down by past leaders.
The Governor stated this recently during the special Church prayer organized by the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and the Lagos State Government to celebrate Lagos @ 50at the Chapel of Christ The Light, Alausa.
Represented by the former Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Femi Pedro, Ambode explained that Lagosians indeed have every reason to thank God for the journey thus far, saying Lagos has not only grown phenomenally but also geometrically.
In his words, “We have political stability, peace and most importantly, we have been blessed with great visionary leaders, who have piloted the ship of the State from its creation till date.”
He, therefore, enjoined all Lagosians to continue to thank God for what we have now, continue to pray for the prosperity of the State and safety of all its citizens, as Lagos is on its way to being the best State in Africa within the next few years.
