Astrology

Astrology is a belief system that suggests there is a relationship between the positions and movements of celestial bodies—such as stars and planets—and events or characteristics in human life and the natural world. Practitioners of astrology, known as astrologers, create horoscopes based on the date, time, and place of an individual’s birth to provide insights into personality traits, relationships, and life events. Astrology is often divided into various branches, such as natal astrology (focused on individual birth charts), mundane astrology (pertaining to world events), and horary astrology (answering specific questions based on celestial positions). Although astrology has ancient roots and has been practiced in different cultures worldwide, it is not considered a science by the scientific community due to a lack of empirical evidence supporting its claims. Instead, astrology is often categorized as a pseudoscience, relying on interpretive and symbolic methods rather than rigorous scientific principles.
