Weyinmi Edodo the CEO of International Property Development Consortium (IPDC), who earned a BSc in Economics from the University of Port Harcourt and achieved a Harvard Business School Real Estate Certification, has made marked contribution to the Lekki and Lagos Island Real Estate markets; he has also acquired choice clientele listing from top Nigerian Commercial Companies, High Net Worth Individuals (HNI’s), Banks, Governmental and Sub-Governmental Agencies as a result. Gilbert Chagoury

Founder and Chairman of the Chagoury Group, Gilbert Ramez Chagoury was born in Lagos, Nigeria on 8th January 1946. His parents, Ramez and Alice Chagoury were Lebanese immigrants who raised all their children in Nigeria, a country they had both come to love passionately. Dun Salami is the CEO of Admiralty Homes Limited. Otunba Olumide Osunsina

Otunba John Olumide Osunsina was born in 1963, in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria. He had his Secondary Education at the famous Barewa College Zaria and also at Abeokuta Grammer School where he took his WAEC and finished with division 1 in 1978.He then proceeded to Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, Kaduna State where he studied Building Technology. He graduated with Distinction in Diploma in Business Administration at the University of Lagos and has a Master’s of Business Administration from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi.He is currently studying for an Msc in real estate from the University of Reading in the UK. Otunba Osunsina has vast experience in various challenging business endeavors including Dredging and under water services, Financial Intermediation, Construction and Real Estate Management. He has steered the wheels of Megamound Investment Limited as its Managing Director/CEO since year 2000 and has nurtured it into a multi-billion Naira diversified institution. The company are the developers of Carlton Gate Estate by Chevron Drive, Lekki and Lekki County Estate in Ikota, Lekki. Other developments of the company includes hotels and office complexes in different parts of the country.

Sade Gbadamosi

Sade Gdadamosi is one of the strong female voices in the real estate business. Although, she is not always in the public glare like her politician husband, Babatunde Olalere Gbadamosi (PDP Gubernatorial Aspirant in 2011 and 2015 popularly known as BOG), her capacity to have delivered one of the most functional estates in Lagos (Amen Estate) is remarkable. He currently heads Properygate Investment Limited, a real estate development company engaged in acquisition of sites for new development; existing properties for redevelopment; and rehabilitation of old properties to meet current functional requirements and contemporary appeal. The company is renowned for most of the major developments within Crown Estate in Lekki.

 

 

Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi

The Ooni of Ife, Oba Ogunwusi although has recently come into prominence as a result of his emergence to the throne of the Yoruba cradle, he was never a minor in the real estate world. Through, his Gran Imperio Group, he was able to take Lagos real estate market by storm. He has been involved in Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) locally and abroad for over 13 years and also actively involved in the development of over 2,500 housing units with various consortia of developers/promoters over the last 9 years in Nigeria. His flagship project was Jacob Mews Estate in Yaba, while others are Southpointe Estate, Northpointe Estate, Lakeview Park 1 and 2, The Grand Lake Estate, Golden Leaf Estate, Yello Estate, Midland Estate all on the Lekki axis. He is also the developer of Inagbe Grand Resorts and Liesure, a a first of its kind Resort on over 3 million square meter land within a 100 kilometer stretch Island along the Atlantic Ocean. Adetunji Ogunwusi

Adetunji Ogunwusi, a graduate of Agric Economics from the University of Ibadan is the elder brother of the Ooni of Ife. He is the CEO of PrimewaterView Limited, a property development company that is presently rated among the first five indigenous property development companies in Nigeria. Prior to its incorporation in 2005, PrimewaterView Limited operated as an Investment and Real Estate Company. Its track record includes the development of various residential/commercial properties in Highbrow areas such as Ikoyi, Victoria Island and Lekki, Lagos Nigeria. Its foray into luxury apartments dates back to 2006 when it developed a block of 19units of 3 bedroom flats and semidetached houses for Exxon Mobil Staff Cooperative society within 12 months at Oniru Estate in Victoria Island Extension and the very popular PrimewaterView Gardens Phase I (107 units) in Lekki, Lagos.

Folorunsho Alakija

The richest African woman, Folorunsho Alakija, is not resting on her oars to make more wealth. The group managing director of The Rose of Sharon Group which consists of The Rose of Sharon Prints & Promotions Limited and Digital Reality Prints Limited and the executive vice-chairman of Famfa Oil Limited is investing heavily in real estate. Among her numerous business investments is a real estate company called Dayspring Property Development Company Limited, which is currently developing her ongoing project, Rose of Sharon Towers. The building is located in Victoria Island, Lagos, with a magnificent view of Kuramo Waters and the Atlantic Ocean. There are three residential floors consisting 32 individual apartments of one, two and three bedrooms, all constructed to international standard and luxury finish. Sources also revealed she is investing a minimum of N29 billion on another property project in the Federal Capital Territory.

Jim Ovia

Top Nigerian Banker and Business Mogul, Jim Ovia is one of the personalities taking the luxury end of the Lagos property market by storm. Similar to how his Bank; Zenith occupies about half of Ajose Adeogun Street, Jim Ovia is also making landmark impressions in another section of Victoria Island (Ozumba Mbadiwe Road) with several super luxury real estate developments. Already contributing to the fast changing face of Ozumba Mbadiwe through his Quantum Luxury Properties Limited, Jim Ovia’s love for the road started with the development of the Civic Centre a little over a decade ago for the hosting of grand events and occasions. However, following the Civic Centre is his recently completed 15 storey Grade A office building known as the Civic Towers.   Major upcoming projects from Jim Ovia’s Quantum Luxury Properties Limited on Ozumba Mbadiwe Road are the Marriots Hotel and the Twin Towers. The ten floors five star Marriots Hotel is to come with 200 bedrooms with amenities like a ball room, meeting and international conference rooms, Olympic size swimming pool, spa, health club, executive lounge and super specialty restaurant, while the fifteen storey Twin Towers will consist of two semi-detached towers with an overall construction area of 43,138sqm and 27,000sqm lettable floor space.

Tony Elumelu

Following his retirement from UBA in 2010, Elumelu founded Heirs Holdings, which invests in the financial services, energy, real estate and hospitality, agribusiness, and healthcare sectors. In 2011, Heirs Holdings acquired a controlling interest in the Transnational Corporation of Nigeria Plc (Transcorp), a publicly quoted conglomerate that has business interests in the agribusiness, energy, real estate and hospitality sectors.

Elumelu was subsequently appointed chairman of the corporation. The company is at the forefront of a recently failed bid to redevelop the Falomo Shopping Complex.

 

 

 

Chief Rasak Akanni Okoya

Although he is well known for his Eleganza Industries entrepreneurial endeavours in Nigeria, the 72 years old also finds pleasure in property development something which has been reported that he started as a very early age.

Rev. Awosedo came into the Real Estate business in 2001. Dillon Nigeria is an architechtural consultant / real estate development company located in both Lagos, Nigeria & The United States of America. Registered in Febuary 1995, with a rich history of clientele and amazing testimonial of developments and property sales. It is headed by (ACH) Gary Sanusi. Some of the completed projects of the company includes Abiola Court 1-7 all in Lekki, Ebeano Shopping Mall in Lekki, Dillon Court in Lekki and a host of other developments in and around Ikoyi.

Oba Adetola Emmanuel King

Hakeen Ogunniran was appointed the Managing Director of the UPDC in January, 2010. Ogunniran, Lawyer, Chartered Secretary and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators holds LL.B, LL.M, and MBA degrees of the University of Lagos. UPDC today is one of the biggest real estate development company in Nigeria.
