A 28 years old Nigerian singer, Asake released a new song, “Amapiano” where he featured the owner of YBNL record label, Olamide Gbenga Adedeji. The song is already topping charts and  his fans are tagging it as the song for the summer 2023.

Olamide used a phrase on his lyrics “RIP to 44”, his fans have explained that it means he’s sending a tribute to Davido’s close friend Obama dmw who died in the year 2021, while others are still confused on what the phrase means.

While some of his fans are happy about the song, other fans like Daniel Regna stated that “Asake featuring Olamide’s Amapiano is catchy thanks to the background singer(s); they harmonize well. The song however is mid lyrically speaking because Asake didn’t come with anything new. Olamide’s verse was OK but the RIP to 44” line is disturbing, it seems like a hidden message. No shades.
