Preuß

Preuß, or Prussian in English, refers to anything related to Prussia, a historical state in Central Europe that existed from the early 16th century until the end of World War II in 1947. Initially a part of the Teutonic Knights’ territory, it eventually became a significant European power. The term can also denote the people from this region, especially those who identified culturally and politically as Prussian. Prussia played a crucial role in the unification of Germany in the 19th century and was known for its military efficiency, bureaucratic governance, and contributions to education and industrialization. The influence of Prussian culture, language, and state practices can still be observed in modern Germany and the surrounding areas.
