……Receives Appreciation Award from NYSC IRU/VI
ADU Queens football team IRU champions the 9th edition of Muniru Muse football cup, sponsored by the distinguished Senator of Lagos Central, Senator Oluremi Tinubu (OON).
The football match which has always been use to encourage, motivate the young talented footballers in Lagos Central senatorial district was held yesterday at Lagos Island, campus mini stadium.
Celebrating the footballers, the Executive Chairman IRU/VI LCDA, Hon. Princess Rasheedat Abiodun Adu said that she’s very happy as the girls keeps winning the match. She urge the footballers to keep it up till they represent IRU/VI in the state and the country at large.
In another development, being a core goal of the Executive Chairman of IRU/VI to ensure good living and development status of the residents, she empowers one today at the council secretariat.
According to the Chairman ” empowerment is a long lasting means of livelihood if well utilized and the recipient has always been dutiful in the council secretariat and the party. This will help to increase his income status”.
In an appreciative mood, the recipent, Mr Akangbe said ” I am very grateful for the empowerment because I never dreamt of this before coming to work but the Chairman put an additional smile to my household. Thank you very much Ma, may God continue to strengthen you”.
She however urge the Staff to be dutiful at all times and practice unity among themselves to achieve a greater and effective work.
Similarly, the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) IRU/VI LCDA present an appreciation letter to the Chairman for being a mother indeed at all times to the corpers.
Presenting the award, the IRU/VI Local Government Inspection(LGI) officer for NYSC, Mrs Ezinne Uguru said ” unbehalf of the corpers we really appreciate your hospitality and motherly concern towards the youth corpers as you admonish them frequently to prepare for the labour market”.
In attendance during the empowerment and award includes the Council Manager, Council Treasurer, the HOD’s and the distinguished staff.
IRU/VI continues to grow beyound expectations as the administration work efficiently. Hon.Princess Rasheedat Abiodun Adu said
