MULTIPLE POLICE CHECK POINTS IS KILLING TRADE & COMMERCIAL ACTIVITIES IN BADAGRY SAYS SANWOOLU

Governor Babajide Olushola Sanwoolu has outrightly frown at the multiple police check points on the Badagry road especially from Agbara to Seme Border, explaining that it has adversely affected and killed the trading and commercial activities of the good people of Badagry.

This he mentioned through his Special Adviser on Art & Culture, Mr. Solomon Saanu Bonu during the 2019 Stakeholders Constituency Meeting organised by the Lagos State House of Assembly held at Badagry Town Hall under the Honourable Member of Badagry Constituency 1, Hon. Ibrahim Layode.

Addressing further some of the security challenges, he advised that military personnel should also be more professional by staying off cases of civil matters which often lead to sporadic shootings and killings of residents with good conscience citing different cases.

BadagryParrotNews gathered that Badagry stakeholders sited at the event gave their nod to the salient points raised by the agile state exco member who is a son of the soil.

Hon. Ibrahim Layode while responding to a few points and issues raised by the stakeholders said he was happy with the large turn out and how best people came out to express themselves given diverse areas that needed attention noting that, “that is the essence of the meeting”. Hon. Layode however promised that an official report will be documented and submitted to the governor by the Lagos State House of Assembly for prompt action.
