The All Progressives Congress Conference of LGA chairmen in Lagos West Senatorial District yesterday 26th September 2019 converged at the party’s secretariat at Oniba drive, Iba LCDA, Lagos State for their quarterly meeting.
The meeting commenced with an opening prayer from Alhaji Ganiyu Adebisi, the LGA Chairman of APC Odiolowo-Ojuwoye LCDA in gleeful atmosphere before the chairman of the conference of LGA chairmen in Lagos West Senatorial District, Alhaji Olamide Kasali, the Chairman of APC Oshodi-Isolo LGA led the meeting into a closed door section, after which he later spoke to IBA LCDA Updates revealed that their deliberation hinged on:
1. The progress of the party in the senatorial district.
2. How to foster unity and cordiality between the party chairmen and the local government chairmen/party leaders in Lagos West Senatorial District.
3. The forum also seized the opportunity to enjoin members to sheathe sword of pre, during, post election discord and allow for peace to reign in the district.
The host, Barr. Tunde Lawal, the State Legal Adviser of Conference 57 APC LGA Chairmen, delivered the goodwill message and the largesse of the Executive Chairman of Iba LCDA, Hon. Ramat-Racheal Adebayo Oseni who despite her plan to physically receive the chairmen was unavoidably unavailable to forum, appreciated the attendees for the largest turnout recorded so far in the history of the forum’s meeting and introduced LGA Excos and all the ward chairmen in Iba LCDA who were on ground to receive the visitors to them.
The meeting wound down with a closing prayer from Alhaji Kehinde Onifade, the LGA Chairman of APC Onigbongbo LCDA amidst funfair.
