Hon Kolade Alabi, Chairman Bariga Local Council, continues his infrastructural transformation of roads within the council to ensure they are in good condition for motorists.
The administration announced its intention to asphalt some roads on Tuesday. Today, three roads , Jolaosho, Akanbi and Ilaje bus stop were asphalted today by the works department of the council.
Recall that Jolaosho and Akanbi were roads constructed by this administration but had to be re- asphalted due to damages done on the roads by mechanics, who has turned the road to workshop and road side traders placing kiosk and containers on the street thereby creating holes on the surface due to oil and heavy kiosks.
The administration has vowed not to condone illicit attitudes of some few individuals destroying public properties, and wont hesitates to prosecute those engaging in such acts.
