Eze Ndigbo and Chiefs in council visits VOB


The Igbo community in Amuwo-Odofin paid a courtesy visit to the Mayor in his office at the Council Secretariat.

After the customary tradition of breaking Kolanut to broker a peace meeting, the spokesperson for the group known as the Prime Minister General in person said “Our mission to your offices is anchored on three agendas. First to familiarize you with our newly enthroned Eze, secondly, to commend your administrative style and applaud the several developmental projects you have carried out in the interest of residents and finally, to further request that you continue to ensure that you recognize us as stakeholders in the affairs of the Local Government. We extend a hand of fellowship to partner in making Amuwo-Odofin the best Local Government in Nigeria”.

The Mayor in response said he is humbled by the expression of confidence the community have for his administration. He assured the delegates that the administration accommodates all tribes across Nigeria, and will continue to identify with the Igbo commnuity because of the important economic role it plays in the Local Government.
