Veteran Yoruba actress Folake Aremu, popularly known as Orisabunmi, has died at age 60.
The Kwara born thespian’s death is coming four months after ex-husband Jimoh Aliu, better known as Aworo, died.
President of the Theatre Arts And Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) Bolaji Amusan, aka Mr. Latin, confirmed she died on Tuesday night.
Another senior TAMPAN member, Tunde Ola-Yusuff also announced the death in a Facebook post.
Orisabunmi became popular in the 80s TV series Arelu, starring her ex-husband and others like Fadeyi Oloro.
The veteran actress has been a phenomenal part of the film industry for more than four decades. She starred in productions including Arelu, Yanponyanrin, Oluweri Magboojo, Lagidigba, and more.
