As results of the just concluded Ekiti gubernatorial election trickles in, Biodun Oyebanji, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has taken an early lead in the governorship election of Ekiti state.
In the results of two LGAs Ekiti West and Irepodun/Ifelodun, released, the APC candidate claimed both with wide margins.
The latter of the two LGAs is that of Ayo Fayose, former governor of Ekiti state, who is backing Bisi Kolawole, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) flagbearer.
