- Visits injured officer at the National Hospital
Following the devastating attack on the Kuhn correctional center yesterday, the President Muhammadu Buhari has visited the scene of the incident at the federal capital territory (FCT).
Last night, Gunmen attacked the prison with explosives on Tuesday night freeing about 600 inmates which includes 54 bokoharam suspects.
The ministry of interior said about 600 inmates escaped from the correctional facility
The president, who is presently touring the scene of the attack, is expected to depart for Dakar, Senegal, later today.
