Temilade Openiyi popularly known as Tems breaks record at the 65th Grammy awards held in Los Angeles, California on 5th February 2023.
The talented singer and songwriter became the first female Nigerian to win the prestigious grammy award for her contribution to the hit song “Wait for U” by Future featuring Drake and herself.
In January 2023, Tems was nominated for an Oscar award for her collaboration with Rihanna on ” Lift me up” which was one of the soundtracks for Marvel studios “WAKANDA FOREVER”. She is the first Nigerian artiste to receive an Oscar nomination.
