SHI’ITE PROTESTERS CLASH WITH POLICE AGAIN!


Members of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) also known as Shi’ite today clashed with the Police at the Federal Secretariat, Abuja.

The Police shot in the air and tear gas canisters to unsettle the protesters, while five of the protester have been apprehended by the security operatives.

Our Correspondent reports that there was panic during the conflict, as workers, commuters and motorists ran away from the scene to avoid being caught in the mix.

The sect members later regrouped at another location to continue with their protest.

On Tuesday they stormed the National Assembly complex, shooting two police officers and vandalized the complex.

In connection with the Tuesday incident, 40 suspects have been arrested.
