JOURNEY SO FAR ON LAGOS -BADAGRY EXPRESS WAY.

Sequel to my deliberation on the above subject matter at Hallow Chamber, I visited Federal ministry of works with the assistance of one of us from Badagry west LCDA who works with the ministry.

Where I was able to meet with the permanent Secretary of the ministry, who was very delighted to see me on the matter under review. After a long deliberation I was able to table my request of palliative measures across the areas/portions handled by Federal Government Agencies ( Fed. Min of works & FERMA).

To the glory of God the permanent Secretary immediately led me to the Director in charge of highways who is also a God sent officer. He immediately place a call and direct the officer in charge of Lagos project ( Engr Kuti) who is to bring all necessary request to commence the palliative work promptly.

My visit to FERMA look similar, I was also received at the MD FERMA’s office with joy and later linked up with Engr Amos , who is in charge of western state project.

The meeting with the gentleman was concluded yesterday with directive given to Engr Onimisi Co-ordinator Lagos office ( FERMA) to direct the contractor handling Okokomaiko to Agbara portion to commence palliative works immediately.

Thanks to Amb. Tijani Saheed for his daily update on our different platform which I use to explain the clearer picture of what is on ground during my visit to all the offices.

Our target for follow up is now on ;

(1) Engr kuti ( Director Lagos Office Fed. Min of works)

(2) Engr Onimisi ( Zonal coordinator Lagos office FERMA).

Furthermore the good news is that Engr Onimisi called in this morning to assure me that palliative works will commence from Okokomaiko to Agbara in the next two or three days.

Here is how far the leg work in support of the narrative given at the Green Chamber has been.
