With the success of the mission last week and the several promising commitment by captains of industries visited by the entourage of Engr. Dr. Valentine Buraimoh on the courtesy visit train, the team commenced its purpose driven quest with vigour and determination.

The dynamic managers of this brilliant enterprise as led by Olufemi Oke, Fabian Abaratu and Olumide Omotore and the Facility manager of building the mega supermart the building occupies excitedly received the entourage of the Mayor
Upon concluding the mandatory introduction exercise as conducted by Mr. Kingsley Nwanze, coordinator of the initiative, Mr. Olufemi Oke excitedly expressed the honour accorded the outfit by the Executive Chairman. He said it speaks volume of the Mayors exemplary traits of Leadership.
“Let me say this without mincing words, Shoprite has greatly profited from the decision to open shop in Amuwo Odofin Local Government. We enjoy the dividend of a peaceful community, and it is satisfying to have the promoter of this experience in out outlet. Thank you sir! Mr Olufemi Oke submitted. He went further to mention that Shoprite is ready to partner with the government in any initiative that will continue to strengthen the peace enjoyed by residents and business owners.”
In is response the Mayor said “Thank you for acknowledging that Amuwo Odofin is peaceful. It is pertinent to mention that the peace will enjoy is informed to a large extent by the proactive approach of this administration to make security of life and property a priority.
To this end, we also ask for your partnership to fully light up Amuwo-Odofin. Our Light up Amuwo Odofin campaign is to ensure that all streets and roads in the community is properly lit to discourage nefarious acts under the covers of darkness. We earnestly look forward to you keying up with this vision as part of your Community Social responsibility project to your host community.”
