Following the court order issued by an Abuja high court declaring the activities of the IMN popularly known as Shi’ttes as a terrorist group, the IGP has banned the group’s activities thereby banning all form of protests by the group.
According to the police chief, with this announcement, anyone associated with the group or its activities will be treated as an enemy of the state.
It would be recalled that just last week, the group protest in Abuja over the non-release of their leader El-Zakzaky turned violent which led to the killing of a police DCP and a channels tv reporter.
