Hon Kolade Alabi, the chairman of Bariga LCDA , today presented gifts to Bariga residents to mark this year Muslim Ileya festival.
The presentation was done by the Vice Chairman, Hon Adeola Zainot Kuponiyi , the Bariga APC chairman, Revd Timothy Oyasodun, the SLG, Hon Bukola Adedeji and the trio were joined by the Bariga APC women leader, Alhaja Mutiat Raji.
The council boss gave out foodstuffs and cash to various groups in Bariga. The widows, market men and women, physically challenged, Washcom, Artisans, and CDCs were some of the people that benefitted from the goodies gifted out by the council boss.
Recalled that he extended same gesture to various groups during the 2018 Christmas/ New year period, in which he distributed chickens, rice, and cash to various groups.
In what is now a normal practise by the Kolade Alabi’s administration, aside from performing his responsibilities like road construction, working on the environment, education and health.
The beneficiaries were happy and full of gratitude to the chairman for taking the welfare of the people as priority.
