In the euphoria of the Nigeria Independent Day Celebration, the Executive Chairman, Orile Agege Local Council Development Area, Hon.Johnson Babatunde and the entire people of the LCDA trooped out in thousands to commemorate the 59th year Nigeria gained her Independence.
Hon. Babatunde while addressing the press reiterated on his reason for organising the “Green Walk For Fitness” Campaign. The Council Chair opined it is a message for the entire people of this great nation to always be on the move to take Nigeria to her expected glory.
The Walk for fitness exercise however, apart from commemorating the birth of Nigeria,it also availed the good people of Orile Agege the opportunity to exercise for healthy living.
The exercise was rounded up with a prayer session committing our mother land into the hand of Almighty God who is the author and finisher of all faith.
Stakeholders who are part of the march are Orile Agege LCDA political clan from the Council Mayor himself, Hon. Johnson Babatunde, the Vice Chairman, Hon. Wale Fayemi, Leader and other Members of the Legislative Arm, Secretary to the Local Government, Exco Members, APC Chieftains and Members,Traditional Chiefs, Management Team, CDC/CDA representatives, National Youth Council Members, Members of the NURTW amongst other stakeholders.
