I commiserate with the family of our father, Brigadier General Mobolaji Johnson who died yesterday at the age of 83 years old.
Brigadier Johnson was a statesman who provided a “healing touch” to the Lagos state and to the country.
I’m deeply shocked at the suddeness of your demise. You distinguished yourself with remarkable vision, and the development witnessed by the state while you were at the helm of affairs can’t be overemphasized.
We have lost an outstanding public figure who built the new Lagos we all are building on today.
Brigadier General Mobolaji Johnson’s contributions to Lagos state and the country in general through years of public service will be always remembered.
Your death is an irreparable loss to the people of Lagos state and the country in general.
Your demise has left a huge void in the the state and the nation at large. You will be missed by all of us.
May your soul rest in perfect peace.
