As the main opposition party in the country ,The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) prepares for its primaries ,two of the nine aspirants jostling to clinch its ticket for the gubernatorial election have been disqualified.
The disqualifed candidate are unknown as at the time of reporting .
The chairman of the screening panel and former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, made this known at the end of the exercise.
“Unfortunately, two of our aspirants did not pass the litmus test,” Mr Dogara told journalists.
The former speaker, however, advised the disqualified candidates to go to the appeal panel if they feel unsatisfied.
