Sequel to the news of the building that collapsed this morning at No 24, Adio street, New Garage, Bariga, and we earlier reported that no casualty nor any loss of life was recorded.
The information we gathered from the landlord of the collapsed building was that, the tenants in the house had been served a quit notice for more than six months , and the Bariga environmental department having seen the condition of the building has equally recommended that the occupants of the house vacate the building.
However, just over seventy percent of the occupants complied with this directive before the building gave way this morning.
The remaining occupants have also packed their belongings.
